- Start with freshly washed, towel-dried hair. Gently blot out excess water—don’t rub. Hair should be damp but not dripping.
- Detangle your hair. Use our wide-tooth comb or detangling brush to remove knots. This prevents breakage and helps with even drying.
- Apply a heat protectant. Mist a heat protectant spray evenly throughout your hair to shield strands from heat damage.
- Section your hair. Divide your hair into manageable sections using our All Grip, No Slip Sectioning Clips. This ensures thorough and even styling.
- Choose your attachment based on your hair type and desired style:

- For curly or coily hair, snap on the wide-tooth comb attachment to smooth and stretch curls. Work in sections, creating tension by holding hair taut and gliding the comb from roots to ends. Use it on wet hair to stretch or on nearly dry hair to lift roots for volume.
- For wavy, curly, or textured hair, use the diffuser attachment to minimize frizz and enhance your natural curl pattern. Scrunch sections upward with the diffuser on low heat and speed. Or, for an air-dry finish, hover the diffuser a couple of inches away and let your curls dry in place.
- For sleek blowouts or brush styling, attach the concentrator nozzle to focus airflow for precision styling. Point the nozzle upward while rolling hair around your brush, and downward when unrolling to control frizz and polish ends.
- For straight to wavy hair, you can start with no attachment to rough-dry your hair and remove excess moisture quickly. Once about 80% dry, switch to a styling attachment if desired.
- Adjust heat and speed settings. Our blow dryer features two speeds and three heat settings (low, medium, high). Choose what works best for your hair type- use low or medium for finer hair and high heat for thicker textures. Lower speeds help minimize frizz and give more control for curls.
- Use the cool shot to set your style. Once you’ve styled a section, hit the cool shot button to lock it in place and boost shine.
- Finish and style to your liking. Once your hair is completely dry, smooth with a brush or add styling products like serum, oil, or texturizer depending on your desired finish.
